being a law student I liked tbe courtroom portions as well as the forensics. however, I was hoping to a happy ending when the search is on for the kidnapped daughter.I was happy about the two main characters getting together in the end.

I loved this book! It is so refreshingly different from the murder/mysteries out there these days. It was so compelling, so gritty, so shocking I couldn't put it down. Hollywood take notice Instead of continuing with the ever more boring boatloads of remakes every year, grab this book and turn it into a movie!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wonderfull stuff. Great job Haberstroh. Can't wait for a sequel
This book got my attention from the very start read it in about a day great characters can't wait to read more about them hope he comes out with a follow up book very interesting info on how the experts on DNA actually come up with answers to crimes loved it!
I like this book so far. I would likely recommend this book to all my friends, and I love court drama.
This was an "I can't put it down" read. It was thrilling, suspenseful and cleverly written. The diversions into the arcane worlds of aircraft carrier flight deck operations, post-O.J. Simpson trial DNA forensics, litigation preparation, etc., truly added to the verisimilitude. Character development, great dialogue and a vibrant pace were spot-on, real and truly gave that "edge of the seat" quality every good mystery story needs. I hope Haberstroh isn't a one-trick pony; I want to see more of his stuff.
In between lengthy history lessons of various items and experiences, if one can remember the theme of the book by then, the 30 or so pages of actual content of the story aren't bad
